How it starts

It starts small, but it does not stay that way.

Your rescue begins in a small apartment with one animal you already love and a new arrival at the door. As you help more animals, you can move into a storefront, build a shelter, hire staff, and make room for pocket pets and birds.

Every animal is someone, not an inventory slot. They have names, a look of their own, a first impression, and things you can only learn by spending time with them. A dachshund picks the warm spot before deciding the room is worth exploring. A cautious animal tells you one more thing after a patient session. Some arrive because no other rescue had room.

Finding a home is not the end of their story. Every animal who finds a home goes up on your alumni wall next to the family who took them, and a postcard arrives later with word from that home, using the name you gave them.
